The units stay were they are, watching the motions by them. "For what purpose?" the units ask, suspicious of the ships neighboring the trading post.

The Amundi responds calmly. "We want you to feel the most comfortable possible while visiting our station. It is polite in our culture to offer your guests to rest as typically guests come from far and wide and are weary of travel."

"We do not have the needs of mortals." One of the units says bluntly but after a few moments the units respond back. "But we will follow you." The units shift about and keep on hand on the the large rifle, which is nearly the size of the Amundi hosts.

The Amundi nods, beginning to guide the machines to a nearby room. This room is not the same one as the one Jeskiar, the Aturor, and Nossa are in. It is of the same design however. When they get to the room there is a large table with chairs around it. In the middle of the table is a tray of Amundish drinks. The representative sits down in a chair and calmly awaits the machines and the Zaedrax guard to take their places. There are Amundish soldiers at each corner of the room.

The large mechanical constructs duck through archways of doors as they enter the room. The units stand around the table and look at the representative and the multiple guards stationed around the room.

The Amundi representative finishes getting himself comfortable. "On behalf of the Amundish race, and the many people you saved from Captain Hareng's cruiser, we would like to say thanks."

"It is unfortunate that the previous captain was so harsh, but the natives of the Pit are not as forgiving." the higher ranking unit speaks but not sympathy is carried with its words.

The Amundi lets out a quiet sigh. "Fortunately we have prevented further bloodshed between the Amundi Federation and...the Pit as you call it. We would like to extend an invitation to trade with eachother here at this meeting as well."

"Excess resources are harder to come by as we push our influence to new planets and sectors, but we would not trade without knowing you were truly a loyal affiliate with the Saerid."

The Amundi adjusts their hood, which seems to be the equivalent of scratching their heads. "I'm afraid that the Amundi are not on good terms with the Saerid as we speak, and I'm in no position to be doing diplomatic deals. That's in the hands of Watcher Jeskiar."

"Then we do not see reason to stay." The units begin to shift and make way for the door in which they came from. Their "hand" still remains on the large weaponry, should anyone turn hostile.

The Amundi allow the Saerid to leave without further words or questioning. The representative returning to their normal duties further in the station.

The Saerid leave peacefully, only truly coming to drop off the survivors they rescued. The small ship leaves after the tall mechanical constructs enter it.

Jeskiar nods slowly after the Aturor speaks. "We could certainly negotiate an exchange of that nature. What did you have in mind for technologies?"

The Aturor commander unfolds his leg, leans into the table putting his elbows onto the table and locks his fingers together. "We would like access to the blueprints and development research of your nuclear fusion devices."

The Commander sits back into his reclined position, letting his offer sit.

Jeskiar watches the Aturor closely as he speaks. "You must take into consideration that, that technology is the Amundi Federation's proudest achievement to this date. We won't just give it away..."

Three Republic of Soter ships enter the system. Two Intolerance class frigates and an Intrepid class frigate enter in formation. After realizing there are other ships in proximity, their shields go up, the bridge crew immediately sets to plotting weapon trajectory courses, pilots sit ready in their fighters, boarding parties gear up in their space combat suits and the HE cannon crews stand ready without powering up.

The RSS Mercy, hails all ships within range of the station, as well as the station itself and broadcasts in both their language and binary their peaceful scouting mission.

The ships maneuver themselves into tactical positions and wait for a response.

Off in the dead silence that is space, the Aturor cruiser does not move or fluctuate in any way. It merely sits and waits in its distanced position from the station.

The Commander remains in his laid back position, "We're negotiating a trade are we not?"

He slowly moves his eyes to the Zaedrax representative then back to Jeskiar.

Jeskiar watches the Aturor for a moment. "What would you be willing to offer us in exchange for our blueprints and research into nuclear fusion?"

When the Soter ships near the station and send a broadcast Amundish people in the command center begin to decode the binary. They then respond with a message in binary, Amundish, and Zaedrax.

"This is a trading station belonging to the Amundi Federation. We would ask that you show no hostilities towards our guests. If you are here for trade or diplomacy we would gladly open a hangar for you to land a shuttle in."

The RSS Mercy sends a message back.

A shuttle escorted by three fighters launches from the RSS Mercy and begins heading toward the station

The Aturor make no alarmed reactions to another visitor, in space or on the station.

Jeskiar purses his lips beneath the shadow of his hood, watching the Aturor's calm demeanor curiously.

"Survival is, in the end, the ultimate goal of every species. I believe survival, generous aid, and limited access to your databases does sound like a fair trade for our nuclear fusion technology. Now, if we were to give you our technology, would you also want access to our databases of information and research related to the technology?"

Jeskiar would lean back after finishing his statement with a question, interlocking his gloved fingers over his stomach.

The RSS Mercy's shuttle would be suddenly denied access to the hangar, a message being sent to the RSS Mercy in binary. "We apologize. This station's priorities have changed. We would like to redirect you to Pyura Station. It serves a similar purpose as this station but is much more suited for the purpose."

An announcement would come on the speakers all around the station, stating something in Amundish. Crews would begin to pack things into crates, everything that isn't required to run the station on the bare minimum level is packed into containers to be shipped away.

Suddenly, four Amundi ships would warp into proximity of the station. The Amundi capital ship, two cruisers, and the super-transport, which would dwarf any of the other ships present. Large shuttles would being to transport things to and from the station.

The shuttle and fighter escort return to their ship.

The Rear Admiral relays a message back

The three ships spool up their FTL drives and jump out of the sector

Becoming slightly annoyed with the intrusive message, the Aturor commander gives a low bellow in his throat.

"We would like access to one right away for testing, then we would like your databases and research into the subject. In the mean time we find this place cozy for our potential future endeavors with your species and would like to keep this location as our convenient future meeting place.

I'll have a datapad readied for your viewing."
