Sector 25 - Pyura Station

A Zaedrax escort would guide the the Spire's transport room, the transport capsule sitting in the middle.

The escort would say:
"This capsule's shields are slipspace graded, and you and your cargo will be sent from this capsule to Pyura Station. From there, you should seek the trade level, where the metals can be dropped off. From there, a representative will give you a tech demonstration of our particle shields, and provide you with schematics, relevant data, and some demonstration shields for your nation to advance upon."

The diplomat looks up from his datapad after reviewing the technologies from this empire.

We're currently looking for fuel sources that offer considerably more power than our fuel cells. Do you have any knowledge on Fusion?

Quote :

Pyura Station's trade deck would be bustling with life. Civilian traders of Zaedrax and Amundi descent go along with their lives, buying products and haggling.
The sight of the four feet tall Amundi traders haggling with nine foot tall Zaedrax would be amusingly contrasting.

A more formal looking Zaedrax, standing at 9 feet and wearing a ornate black suit of armor approaches the group and identifies the more prominent figure, bowing for the man.

"As a representative of the Zaedrax Tetrabune, I welcome you formally to Pyura Station, the result of cooperation between two peaceful nations. As you can tell, the station is full of life, and we hope that the addition of new empires can aid in this."

The representative would beckon for the group to follow.

"The trade level is one of the focal points of this station, and can easily support prolonged and extensive trade. At the illuminated pad to your left, you may place the metals down. Then I would request that you follow me for the rest of the tour and for you to acquire our shielding technology."


On Spire Two, the diplomat would reel back slightly from the words before responding.

"We indeed know of fusion, and use it ourselves. However, you did say your nation is relatively new to galactic affairs, and it would be safe to say that nothing you could offer at this moment would make a fair trade for fusion technology. We have presented our technology, you may inquire of others as well. If you have anything else you have been unwilling to say or offer, we would suggest perhaps saying said technology or advancement, as it could perhaps even the fields so to speak."

The diplomat shakes his head

Unfortunately then, all we can offer is base goods.

Quote :

The station's traders would carry the usual uranium, as well as some other radioactive compounds, and a rare radioactive Zaedrax crystal known as Viridial.

On Spire Two, the diplomat would respond:
"Then it shall be base goods. You may also open civilian trading aboard the station if you desire, and our city-scapes can more than accommodate a hefty amount of people."

The representative of Soter stands.

Excellent then our business is concluded, I will return to the empire with this news.

The civilian crew moves over to the illuminated drop pad and begins to unload the crates from the dolly, moving in a quick and precise pace. Heisan waits patiently for the crew to finish, and in the mean time studies his surroundings. As soon as the crew finishes unloading the dolly, Heisan looks at the Zaedrax and says, "Well, now that our initial task is completed, let us be off. I'm interested to see this particle shield; I'm sure that our War Emperor is too."

On Spire Two, the Zaedrax diplomat would provide a farewell, and then proced to escort the Republic of Soter's ambassador to his respective vessel.

All the while, the Republic's ambassadors and traders would be provided housing within one of the massive city-scapes, and they would be provided fully customizable furnishings as well as offices and posts.


The more elaborate dressed Zaedrax would lead the Heisan and his group away from the trade level, taking a magnetically propelled elevator to another level. It opens, revealing a level full of Zaedrax and Amundi scientists, all scurrying around to get their work done.
The diplomat would escort the group to a pristine white chamber and gesture towards two freestanding walls. Transparent blast-shields would raise, blocking off access to the walls.

"The first wall is an un-shielded piece of hull."

The diplomat presses a button, and a mechanical arm extends fluidly from the ceiling, extending a tube which begins to illuminate. The tube glows with a bright light, and a beam of energy extends out towards the wall, beginning to bore a hole into it before finally slicing the segment in half.
The blast shields lower, and a scientist removes the damaged wall. The other wall is polished before a control is activated and the wall glows a faint aqua color.

"Same piece of hull, but now with Zaedrax particle shielding."

Blast shields raise, and the arm begins to prepare to fire one more. This time, the beam of energy dissipates against the shield as it hits it, the aqua-hued hull flickering from the beam.
This goes on for about a minute until the arm's beam overheats, shutting itself off.

The diplomat enters the chamber, disabling the shielding and then handing a small device to Heisan.

"This device contains all relevant information, schematics, and designs for particle shields. It will also allow you access to our databases that involve particle shielding."

The representative returns to his vessel. Shortly thereafter the final men board the station to assume their new posts. The trading post having been set up keeps its two shuttles, to be able to meet new Republic ships or for a quick evacuation.

Once the vessel docks with the waiting Republic fleet, they power up their FTL drives and jump out of the system. The leaders remaining on the station are Ambassador Hsu and Colonel Jazar.

Heisan watches the example with interest and rubs his chin, thinking about the applications other than militarily. He takes the device in his hand and turns it over. The two imperial marines look at each other and shrug, obviously not informed as to what the assembly man's here for. Heisan turns to the marine on his right and hands him the device, then turns back to Zaedrax and bows, "Thank you for your time, but we must return home and report back to our emperor. He'll be delighted to know that we can set up a trading post here."

Quote :

The Zaedrax nods to Heisan.
"Indeed, and perhaps you can set up a permanent ambassador aboard the station if you so desire."

The group would be escorted back to the slipspace capsules and would arrive back at Spire One, the hangar with their shuttle would be close by.

The Azraelic Republic

Typhon Class Ship: Atmora Presiding

The Azraelic Republic learns of the Pyura station over time through word of mouth, as well as communications from traders and explorers passing through their systems. Feeling that opportunity for both mutual benefit and good relations could stem from this contact, the Azraelic republic sends an expeditionary vessel across the stretch of space between their comfort zone, through the inky gap between them and Pyura.

Upon warping into the proper space, they communicate the olive branch, metaphorically; they stay a safe distance away from the station, before attempting to establish communications with the station with the following message.

Quote :

"This is High-Officer Tallik Randolph. On behalf of the neighboring Azraelic Republic and the people therein, we would ask for permission to dock, as to both trade as well as introduce ourselves to your share of the intergalactic community."

Heisan taps his finger on his chin for a second before turning to the marine with the device and speaks to him in a hushed tone before the two marines leave the ambassador and board the shuttle, before leaving the ambassador alone on the station. Heisan turns to the Zaedrax and says, "After a quick change of plans, I'll send the device with one of our ships back to Alexander, and I shall stay here for a time to arrange a for a more permanent olive branch here."

The dropship returns to the Hurricane battlecruiser. After a few minutes to secure the hull, the Hurricane lumbers away for a distance before opening a transparent funnel, which it drifts through before disappearing in a bright flash of white. The Thorax class cruiser sits idle close to spire one.

Quote :

The Zaedrax ambassador nods to Heisan before responding.
"A good choice. I will escort you to your offices and housing aboard the station. In the meantime, I feel that the station is relatively safe. Also, we will be accepting another nation into the station, and while we escort you to your offices, we would also provide the new ambassadors with a quick tour."

The Zaedrax ambassador keys some commands on a tablet before its actions become known.

The massive slipspace distortion surrounding Pyura Station collapses, and the empty and foggy space that had once been is now containing the massive 160 kilometer long station.

Spire One and Two would then slowly approach the station, docking back into their respective slots

All the while, the stations railgun and MAC compliment stations would stand more attentive.

All the while, the Atmora Presiding would be allowed to dock to Spire One, where the Zaedrax ambassador and his security detail would be waiting.

The Azraelic Republic

Typhon Class Ship: Atmora presiding

Following the permission given to dock, the Atmora slowly makes its way through to the dock allotted to it, where it would rest easy and sit secure. Following this, the crew was given amnesty for shoreleave after the standard two-hour docking unwind had been completed.

A few minutes after docking, the Atmora would begin to show signs of a leaving party beginning to disembark. Once this has come into effect, a group of three can be seen leaving the ship. The frontmost man looks practically dressed, were he to be dropped into a ball in the middle of an unforgiving wilderness. The other is a man in dark armor, well armed, standing by his side. The other is a simply clad man who appears to be spry and light on his feet, with a light hat on his head and a messenger's bag resting at his side with a strap over his shoulder.

A group of mechanical appearing entities approach. They are a grey color, with accenting blue lights and what would appear to be a weapon mounted to their right arm. Along with them another armored entity appears, wearing a black armor that almost seems ceremonial. All of these entities stand at nearly nine feet tall and their armors all would glow with a combination of practical and accent lighting.

The more formal looking Zaedrax approaches the three individuals, lending a slight bow towards the frontmost one. He would then rise, before a small white light glows on his helmet as he begins to speak in the human language Swedish.

"As a representative from the Zaedrax Tetrabune, I welcome you aboard Spire One of Pyura Station, a joint Zaedrax-Amundi political and trade station. It is a pleasure to have a peaceful nation aboard our station, and we would wish to discuss trade and diplomacy as soon as we become situated in a proper discussion area. We would also like to say that other nations have representatives and officials aboard the station, and you may contact and discuss diplomacy with them as well. Now, I would request that you follow."

The group would be escorted to a large maglev elevator, which would then make it to one of the many levels of the station before the group finally exits into a large meeting room. The Zaedrax ambassador would sit in his respective seat, being large enough to accommodate him. All the while, he gestures for the others to approach three terminals across from him. The terminals would quickly scan the individuals, and they would project light in the shape of a chair suitable for their builds, and it would suddenly solidify.

The Azraelic Republic

Typhon Class Ship: Atmora presiding

All three men return bows to the Zaedrax that greets them, and as the speaking begins, all three men listen. Upon doing so, the frontmost man offers, a nod, and ushers his small group to move alongside him in following the representative. They would reach the meeting hall, curiously step into the terminal, and be a mix of both surprised, as well as amused, when they see the chairs form for them. They each sit, nodding their heads in respect once again, before they sit well and upright.

The well dressed man is the first to speak, clearing his throat once again before speaking in Swedish as he was greeted with earlier.

We would thank you for your time, and your care in our seating arrangements. I am Tallik Randolph, and I believe we spoke earlier. This is indeed quite the place you have here, we've nothing quite like it in the Veil.

The Soter dockworkers, traders and soldiers look upon the newcomers with interest as they pass them. Other than that they go about their business. Word is sent to the command staff of Soter stationed at their posts. Ambassador Hsu and Colonel Jazar send a message to the Azraelic Republic ships requesting a meeting.

With the attack on the League of Stars, the Zaedrax would feel the need to once again put Pyura Station in lockdown.

The station hums with life as a large blast of energy is released, engulfing the station within a space anomaly just as its two spires depart, orbiting the void that was once the mighty political and trade station.

The complimentary MAC and Railgun stations would light up with life, prepared for any potential threats.

Inside the station, security is more tough on traders and people within. Packages and cargo are checked intensively, and scanners constantly probe for any potential threats.
Security guards are more common, including Zaedrax, Amundi, Leonum, and Azraelas troops.

Traders are restricted to their levels, and the same for politicians. All movements are tracked, and nothing gets out of the sight of security.

Ships approaching the station's two spires would be scanned and physically inspected to ensure the safety of the Station before being permitted to dock.

Ambassador Hsu and Colonel Jazar. stride into the conference room with their guard following. They proceed to take two seats and send out a message to all the ambassadors on the station either through a paging system or through their soldiers. The message is as follows.

The Republic of Soter's ships have just engaged the beings you call "Mass", if we are to prevail and triumph over this being, we must pool our combined knowledge on the subject and prepare what we can to either purge or liberate the planet, so it cannot be taken by the Mass. The Republic of Soter is requesting an emergency meeting with all available nations to discuss this threat.

Around the station, the security still remains tight. As evacuation vessels arrive at Pyura, they are screened and quickly find their way to the two cityscapes. The station becomes increasingly crowded, as thousands of Zaedrax refugees shuffle through the great halls of Pyura Station.

From farmers, to politicians and scientists, the refugees find their place within the station. They mourn any lost family members or friends, and dwell upon the fate of their planet.

One vessel finds priority over the others. Its abnormal features and smaller profile allow it to slip through the fleet of refugee vessels with ease. The vessel quickly finds a pillar to dock to, and a large object is unloaded. Masses of armed guards bring the object to a room within the mighty station. The spherical object rests with ease into the reflective chamber, and lights illuminate it and its surroundings. The device hold all the known history and information of the Zaedrax race. Thousands of years of videos, pictures, and other forms of information accumulate to this one item, should the worst happen to Bihbulba and the Zaedrax race.

Another entity strides into the room, black armor accented by white lights. Abstract and angular structures sprout from the individual, function uncertain. This individual takes a seat within the chamber, the seat conforming to his body with ease.

"With my arrival, the Zaedrax are now represented within this meeting. We await the arrival of the Azraelas and Imperri Leonum representatives."

The representative fiddles with the arm rest of his chair, bringing up a holographic menu which he swipes with fluid motions, keying up each representing party and sending notifications over the station's intercom to summon them to the chamber.

All of the Zaedrax in the room are concerned, and their minds are with Bihbulba. The representative shows this more than others, one hand resting on the side of his helmet as he twirls a small orb within his other hand, looking at it deeply.
