Sector 25
The Infinity Fleet
The current ships within the Infinity fleet are as follows:
Spoiler:

Sector 25 - Jal'Ken YTfhH
===
A large void in space appears above the unclaimed planet, and it suddenly explodes into a burst of purple energy, the Infinity Fleet travelling through it.
Two of her escort corvettes begin to establish an orbit around the plant, all the while it is being probed and scanned.
The ZTN Azure launches a ground party after declaring it a stable surface, a group of automatons, scanners, power-armored soldiers, and a small scientific dispatch. The other ships in the Infinity Fleet stand by, awaiting further results from the ground.
In the meantime the ZTN Incorruptible travels next to the nearby nebulae, sending probes into the clouds to search for its mineral content, and yield.

===
Ground Party: P3X-312
===
The shuttle takes the group down to the planet, finding a decent landing zone. The group exits the shuttle on a large stretch of rock, their armors making a satisfying "clank" as they jump out of the shuttle. The science crew is quick to work, taking a pre-build tent from the shuttle and staking it into the ground. They load multiple scientific devices into the tent, using these to establish what benefits this planet has to offer. Its proximity to Bihbluba is certainly a plus, and the Tetrabune wishes to further its influence in the galaxy.
The armored soldiers take no time to grab picks from the shuttle, using it to crack rock while others shovel out the debris. They proceed to do this, digging small entrenchments for the soldiers to stand guard by. Scanning probes zoom past the base camp, scanning the land in a progressively larger circular pattern. Detected minerals or valuable locations are marked down on a map, while the probes launch small flags to identify these locations as well.

The men digging have incredible trouble with the dense rock using only picks. More powerful drills, explosives, or power hammers are required to penetrate the stone. Ground penetrating radar shows vague images that the thick rock is only an outer layer, and only a few feet under is a less dense rock. Metals and minerals are detected, but are not concentrated to veins. The metal materials are great in quantity, but spread out over large fields underground.

Sector 25
The Infinity Fleet
The current ships within the Infinity fleet are as follows:
Spoiler:

Sector 25 - Jal'Ken YTfhH
===
The ZTN Incorruptible remains near the Nebulae, continuing to probe it in attempts to determine what resources it yields.
===
Ground Party: P3X-312
===

The ground team quickly notices their picks will get them nowhere, but also realize that they have no need to make trenches to fortify the tents in that way in order to keep it safe. The armed soldiers divide their numbers, half remaining at the tents and the other half following the probes. The probes identify the lack of large veins of resources, and also note the fact that there still is a good amount of them, just spread out. These conditions dictate that the only proper way of mining would be strip mining. The probes continue to mark out where the resources are found, and use calculations to determine a basic patterns in which they seem to appear. The probes return back to base camp and send the data to the ZTN Azure.
===

Sector 25
The Infinity Fleet
===
The ZTN Azure receives the message, and begins to warm up its particle beams. Lowering itself closer to the planet, it begins to carve the pattern sent to them in on the planets' rock surface. After following this patter for a good amount of time, they send a few shuttles down, filled with proper mining vehicles and workers with mining lasers. The shuttles lower town to the landing zone, opening their doors.

===
Ground Party: P3X-312
===

The new mining machinery and workers approach the patterns that were carved into the ground. These patters expose lower rock, and chunks of minerals jutting out. The machines get to work, carving away at the larger rock while the workers' mining lasers carve away with more precision, letting minerals and metals fall free from the rock. Larger vehicles begin to truck away the materials back to the landing site, placing them in large containers which are then sent back to the ZTN Azure via transport-craft.

The close range planet crust cracking sends micro asteroids in all directions like flak. The tiny asteroids rip through armor, metal, and tent materials like paper. One can see the tiny fragments skipping across the ground makes long streaks in surface dirt.

Although the make shift mining laser worked, the heat glasses over the surface making it a little more difficult to unearth the metal resources.

Some harsh words are exchanged from the ground crew to the ZTN Azure, as several scientists had been injured by flying debris. The ground team notices the increases resistance from the ground when removing minerals, but their mining equipment still gets the job done.

===
Sector 25
Infinity Fleet
===
The ZTN Azure sends some prefabricated structures down to the planet's surface. These structures include living quarters, science facilities, leisure and eating areas, along with a multiple pieces that would form a large warehouse to store the planet's materials before it gets shipped. Shuttles fly from the vessels hangars, flying to the planets surface alongside the prefabs.

===
Ground Party: P3X-312
===
The prefabs are carried down to the planet's surface and the new shuttles open up to reveal a few dozen colonists and builders. They begin to help weld and construct the prefab buildings, and secure them into the ground using large metal spikes. Colonists help in the process, trying to be as useful as they can during the construction.
As the prefabs begin to come together to make a full fledged colony, the colonists load in equipment and other goods from their shuttles. The mining operation continues, but the resources are now deposited at the factory.

Breaking through the smooth glass like material degrades the drill bits at an extraordinary rate, but once it is broken through, it cracks like glass. The raw materials can now be extracted at will as mining settlement begins. Due to a lack of water, or any atmosphere for that matter, permanent settlement does not go beyond imported oxygen and water supplies to the sealed living pods.

The mining operation finally comes alive, and the ZTN Azure is satisfied with its results. Scientists ground-side and in orbit decide upon how to make the planet more hospitable. They settle upon using paraterraforming for their colonies, with intention to eventually spread out. The scientists order for the placement of all remaining prefab units and for the construction of even more buildings, and infrastructure.

===
Infinity Fleet
===
The Azure sends down the remaining of its prefabs and proceeds to send its message via slipspace back to Bihbulba. They begins construction on their multiple sections for a large dome. Construction begins, and the ZTN Azure continues to pierce the ground with its shipboard scanners, attempting to locate any sources of water or other valuables.

With the paraterraforming pods, one less resource is needed to supply the planet. The only water that seems available is rare and frozen moisture under the rock. The water available on the planet can not supply a colony.

The probe entering the nebula slowly get completely jammed by thick dust rendering their sensors inoperable. The signal to the probe quickly is lost once it passes through a second layer of thick clouds.

The ship detects high amounts of space dust as the outer layer, there seems to be traces of hydrogen, helium, and oxygen coming from inside but warrants deeper exploration to be sure.

As the sensor arrays pass into the nebula, they begin to feed back data slowly as it pours into them. There appears to be predominately helium, but scanners show some sort of pockets in the gas.

Pockets of raw oxygen and hydrogen gas.

The ZTN Incorruptible approaches the pockets, activating ramjets to funnel the gases into containers on board. They continue to do this for a few more pockets, going back to the Azure to drop of their cargo for each run. Some oxygen is sent planet-side in order to increase the habitability of their paraterraforming centers, while the rest are kept on board. Colonists have proposed to name the new planet, Jal'ken, the name of one of their homeplanet's moons that had been consumed by a solar flare. This name is accepted by higher command, and they begin to construct defensive structures and weapons to protect the planet, as well as garrisoning some military forces there as well.
Along with the construction of defensive structures, they begin to erect large communication devices as well. With that, they also begin to warp in some supplies from Bihbulba and some civilian vessels, which begin work on constructing the basic infrastructure of a trading post that would orbit the planet. The station would be relatively small, linked to a space elevator that would transport resources from the planet.
Long range messages are sent in binary and different dialects, beckoning nations to initiate trade with the planet.

The pockets are partially collected but to the unknowing collector of resources, the pockets are ignited by the passing engines. The ships is rocked by the resulting explosions. The ship now being in the middle of a cosmic mine field that walls in communications.

//Running off of an assumption on that one. Since the original post didn't have the detail requires to allow you a judgement like that, I'll clarify.
A. The ship would be using ion thrusters to power it when not in combat or for delicate resource collection.
B. The ramjets wouldn't ignite it. Not sure if you considered them as the engines, so throwing that in there.

// Running off the assumption you don't know what an ion engine is...

Which when they say ions, they mean plasma, which is made of ions, in which plasma is a really hot gas you've set yourself up for failure. You also took a risk by entering a nebula that blocks scanners, plenty of warning. Oh yeah, ramjets burn fuel too and are dependent on airflow so you know enough heat can ignite things. An engine that can push a large craft is definitely hot enough to ignite an oxygen bubble.

Don't try and drop knowledge on a GM bro.

The ZTN Incorruptible braces itself from the explosions, increasing its shields and disabling its ramjets. As contact cuts off, it begins to rear itself and lower engine power. The particle shields envelop the ship, a large amount of helium being trapped inside. Exhaust begins to build inside the shield making the pressure climb to high levels. The ship slowly drifts through the clouds, although the path seems skewed with the explosions shifting the spacial nebula's orientation.
