Valkeri Syr

       Valkeri Is a younger vampire, abandoned from his sirer who was killed by a Vampire hunter. Before that, he was brought to Jheran, the vampire haven. His new life began, working under a woman he did not know, nor did he really care to know at the time. He was content with his job and did not wish to endanger it. With a large population of vampires in Jheran and little humans to feed off of, slave trafficking was needed. The money good, but even better was the blood and the girls. This all had ended when his contacts began to dissapeer. With him being busy organizing the kidnappings and transportation out of smaller villages and even Surna, he was never in Jheran itself. This type of lifestyle had saved his life, ironically. Every single one of his contacts began to dissapeer, one day he received and returned a letter, the next day nothing, with a fresh supply of young girls and men to feed off of, he was forced to make a decision, risk the profit or risk his life.
       
          He decides to ditch all of his products except for one, a young girl in her mid-late teens, she was a daughter of a cattle farmer. She had been mesmerized by him as he watched her through her window at night from across the street. His vampiric seduction had grabbed ahold of her and could not be shaken.His interest in her, was simply an obedient slave that he can drink from freely if he ever feels the need to do so. He turned to his slaves, all which have heard his alias and seen his face. A mad grin is stretched across his face and slaughtered them all in front of the one girl, before moving off to Surna where he begins his new business.

Born into a noble family, Darmor Calden was never without anything he wanted. He had money, girls, the clothes and the fancy house. His daily activities were those of a nobleman, including swordsmanship and horseback riding, not to mention lessons by his nanny in manners. He would attend balls, attend his father’s business meetings (To learn the trade) and help watch over the servants, flirting with the pretty girls when he had the chance. When he came around to his thirty first birthday, he was to take over the estate fully and run the family. His mother had passed away recently and his father was getting tired from old age. Darmor was happy, he no longer had any restraints (Which he had little of) and could direct the family in the direction he wanted. This all changed when he had hired a new servant, a woman, maybe a few years younger than him.

He was entranced by this woman’s beauty, the second he met her he had thought she was the one. Within the week of hiring her, he was back to his young self again, flirting her up and inviting her to his chambers for the night. When she had arrived, she had a different presence, some sort of dark feeling to her. He shrugged it off and continued the night. They drank and they slept until he woke up in the middle of the night with her straddling overtop of him. He smiled up at her and spoke up groggily, “Another round?” He laughed lightly and the woman swooped down upon his neck. He was frozen with fear and struggled to escape her grasp. She pinned his arms and legs until he felt too weak to move, his body began to turn a blank white; his blood no longer belonged to him. Just as he felt he was about to die, the girl bit her own hand and opened his mouth, pouring the blood from her own hand into his mouth. It felt warm to him a lost feeling from his bloodless cold body and within seconds, to his knowledge he had died.

The next night he had woken up in his chambers as if nothing happened, the sheets were cleaned of blood and he was still in his old pajamas, but something wasn’t right. His skin was grey and his canine’s much longer. Two figures were in the corner, one with bright yellow eyes, the other figure was tied up and gagged, it was one of his servants, one that he had probably flirted with as a young man. The yellow eyed figure called out to him “Awake sweetheart? I thought you would be hungry, so I brought you breakfast” she giggled lightly and he arose from his bed. He felt an unquenchable thirst and dove for the young girl, ignoring his old relationship with her. His canine’s pierced her neck and he began to drink uncontrollably. The girl’s artery explodes and begins to gush into his mouth, a dark crimson stream. It began to flow out of the corner’s of his mouth and dripped onto the ground. When he was finished, he felt powerful, the girl’s blood coursing through his body. He turned to the yellow eyed vampire and grinned madly.

“What is your named?” she asked the fresh vampire
“Darmor Calden” he responded.
“Wrong, you are now Valkeri Syr, my new brother. Welcome to the life of night.”

Valkeri grinned and smiled at her, he turned to the dried body behind him and wiped his mouth clean. “What’s next?” He asked her and walked over to a tall standing mirror against the wall near his dresser. He looked over his features, the once handsome nobleman, now even more handsome, but much, much darker. His skin was as grey as ash and his eyes were as white as snow. His face had sunken slightly, but to his own liking, his sharp features were much more visible, showing off his dark alluring shadows.

“We move to Jheran.”

Valkeri began his new life in the vampire sanctuary, leaving his estate behind but taking all of his valuables and family’s coffers. Nelenna Syr, the yellow eyed vampire had introduced him to a man, one supposedly in charge of the human trafficking, just below the supposed ring leader of the underground in Jheran. The man was much older and much more experienced than Valkeri, but he was willing to show him the ropes of the trade. Valkeri enjoyed his new position in life, he would have an unlimited supply of blood and a good source of income. Valkeri and Nelenna climbed their way up in the trade, running the transportation and planning the kidnappings of villagers in small towns and even in Surna. This continued for sixty years until Nelenna returned with one of the shipments to Jheran. Valkeri waited a week for her to return and even sent a courier to look for her.  The courier never returned and he began to worry. He had twelve fresh slaves with him and four vampires that were working under him at the time. His mind was quickly made and barked out orders to the rest of the vampires.

“Kill them all, leave the girl alive.”

They followed his orders and slaughtered them all, drinking like madmen and tearing out their throats. The one girl, maybe only seventeen or eighteen was left alone. She had previously been allured by Valkeri’s charm and was obedient to his every command. He liked this and decided to keep her as his backup food source and a source of entertainment. He and his workers moved into a large apartment, paying with their advanced payments and Valkeri’s old family fortune. The young girl was chained in the basement of the building, but despite chaining her up, Valkeri took good care of her. He fed her food and water, allowed her to bathe and even bought her clothes.
