Biography Overview

-Home schooled by family friend, starting at an earlier age.
-Found to have a high magic affinity.
-Sent off to an academy to learn a broad range of magics and sciences.
-Began to experiment with fortimacy at the age of eleven.
-Used fortimacy to create basic objects out of wet clay, his first object a pot. (One of his four pots)
-Excelled in Sciences in school, aswell as all of the written magics.
-Age of fifteen, he partners up with a professor to experiment freely with his new transmutation magic.
-Shenanigans occur for five years
-Age of twenty, he creates animation magic with the assistance of his professor.
-Six years pass, experimenting with Animation magic, testing other materials. Sand being his favored material.
-Year later, Elik leaves the academy without the consent of his professor. Takes whatever he has with him.



Inventory:

A small Jar of sand.
A small Jar of Water.
A small Jar filled with ores, such as Iron and silver.
Small Jar filled with Firework materials

All jars have wards of protection on them to prevent them from shattering.

Transmutation
Highly Skilled
Able to make anything out of almost nothing. Able to make large clay Golems and other temporary animate objects, while also being able to make strong permanent objects, for example the pots that carry all of  his supplies in. He cannot create industrial products.
He carries an large iron spike for defense, a weapon for any creations of his. His preffered material is sand which he will always carry a small amount with him for absolute emergencies.
Wards
Skilled
Able to Ward almost anything, with already warding most of his body with permanent wards to protect himself from harm. He can cast stronger level permanent Wards, and even stronger temporary wards.

Enchanting
Skilled
Able to Enchant almost anything that a customer would want, or that he would need on his travels. All very moderate level enchantments, with a few stronger protection enchantments. Sometimes mixes them with permanent wards.

Scrolls
Skilled
Through years of studying at the academy and his mandatory classes, Elik had learned how to put the majority of his spells onto paper. Low level Animation spells with pre-made commands and almost any creation spells are able to be scrolled.

Strength
Very Weak
Never having to do any heavy lifting in his life, he has almost no muscle mass on him.

Not bad.

After what I've seen in game, all I really have to say, or well... -can- say at this point, is no way. I really have to draw the line at the point where you can literally take thirty seconds to make a 60 foot tall golem that can just bulldoze anything in it's path.
That's bullshit, no offence.

The only thing I notice is the 'being able to create almost anything' portion; I think he should need to know about what he's making, in order to make something else into it. Just saying, so he can't produce like masterwork pikes or heavy-grade Erik Fisher explosives.

Just saying, all aside from that, he seems like a great character. with this speed bump hurdled, I think I'd be able to levy a nice healthy approval here. = )

Its not like mechanical, its all physical solid objects such as a sword if he wished (although it not as strong as some crazy smithed sword, nor would he ever pick one up, plus it would not be made of tempered metal). As long as he can imagine what it looks like, he can make it. As long as he has the materials to make it, (sand stone wood ore, etc). He cannot make potions, or anything with biological effects. Also, the only explosives he can make is fireworks, he doesn't know how to make more elaborate bombs.

Who said thirty seconds, or 60 foot tall golem, and you obviously did not read the new section in the transmutation page. Plus, the largest golem ever made was only 20 feet tall and using the easiest material to work with.

So I was chilling on the server yesterday, and I encountered this character, among others - but for right now, let me just focus on this character. There are some pluses and minuses I'd like to go over:

I must protest the lack of clarity in this section. Without describing the exact tint and value, you leave us guessing as to the character's appearance. There are 534 colors recognized as "dark earthy brown" alone, and that's not even counting the 687 colors of "earthy dark brown." And what about "dark brown earth?" Honestly, it's almost as if you expect us to do all of the work for you.

Fortimacy is a forbidden art, not something they teach in schools. To be frank, I'm puzzled as to how you even found out about it. You might want your character to stick to one of the safer schools, like Abjration, Animacy, or Forimancy.

I object to this overview for a very simple reason. I don't know what "experiments" or "shenanigans" he was doing with his professor during his teen years, but I must say, it's deplorable to think you can get away with having such obscenity so blatantly crammed into your character's bio overview. All of Aeria's members are under age, with Pat being the youngest. Next time, use discretion - I would recommend you send me a PM with the full details so I can screen it for further slips.

There's no way he would be able to have a jar of firework materials. It just doesn't make sense in this setting. Sanctimonia's police have been seriously cracking down on illegal fireworks for the past 25 years, and they've gotten very good at rooting out smugglers. Just last week someone's character was sentenced to 6 months community service because his uncle had stashed a bunch of roman candles in his horse's trunk. That's a euphemism, don't overthink it.

I'm glad you took the time to write a detailed biography of the character based on the above overview. The overview gives casual readers a clear idea of the major points in the character's life and explains some of his motivations, while the above biography goes into more depth about the intricate details of this character's very complex, and very dwarfish, mind. Even if no one reads this biography, remember that it's here for your benefit more than anyone else's.
