The Striders
The Striders were the native race of Bihbulba, who by chance happened to be the ancestors of modern Zaedrax. When the Zaedrax landed on Bihbulba and began to colonize it, the Striders provided heavy resistance, but lacked the technology to combat the Zaedrax. Forced into the shadows, the Striders were constantly the recipients of abuse and segregation due to their past. This violence eventually bred to hatred of the Zaedrax, and the Striders would find the Promethean AI to be a perfect opportunity to escape Zaedrax rule.
The Striders are genderless entities that vary in size and shape. There is only one known Strider race, and that is the Feir.

The Strider majority, Feir are powerful psychic beings that stand at fifteen feet tall. They have a six digit hand, four fingers and two thumbs, each digit ending in a point. Feir are omnivores, and have two slit shaped nostrils. They posses ocular sensory organs, and have small patches of fur which cover select spots of their grey bodies. Older Feir will be subject to differences in skin pigment, and their grey skin can turn a white one, with certain parts of their head being a blood-red color.

Organics, not robots. As for size, nature works in mysterious ways. Obviously outfitting them in combat is incredibly difficult, and would rarely be done, or in few few numbers,
As for 100 trillion AI, yeah, software, existing upon massive "Think-Tanks", which are massive databases. Not individual little guys running around. I'll Nerf the Strider pop. count however.
Ship is slightly op due of fire rate, but i'll change that. Far from a deathstar. Noted the potential of the energy as simply being what can be used at max, not ever used practically, as it would destroy the ship's tier 1-2 reactors. Besides that, the weapons systems may be vast, but are specialized within their respective fields. I'll try to tweak it to find out some sort of median. Also should note, this is their only vessel, and the reproduction of other vessels will take them a very, very, long time.
As for background, not really an incredible amount to write.

No, here's what you're GOING to do;
- Striders are neither going to be 100 feet tall nor psychic if they're robots or whatever I don't care.
- Deathship is going to be massively nerfed. Could care less if its their only ship. I'm not going to direct you to what needs to be removed because I pretty much have a problem with almost every single weapon/defense system the ship has. Do it, I don't care how.
- Lower the AI number by a LOT. I don't care if they don't have physical bodies, it's a lot.
This is not an argument, this will be done or your race is denied. After you've edited accordingly I will check it again.

It's tier 2 tech in almost everything. You're only allowed to start with t1 tech.
I don't mind psionics, even though pretty much every race has them at this point. Just don't make them 100 feet tall. 100-foot tall bipeds... that's impossible. And unbalanced besides. How can any empire hope to fight an army of these?
The 100 trillion AI is conceivable (since AIs are just data), but still pretty unbalanced. 100 trillion AIs working in unison could discover the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. Oh, and pretty much annihilate any opposition. You realize most empires only have populations in the tens of billions, right?

I will address everything tomorrow, and fix it according to Blitz's request. However, the tier 2 tech should be noted, since they are a direct result and mirror of current Zaedrax tech {Besides their secret technology}.
In the meantime, i'll quickly alter those changes. Further detail such as in depth anatomy, ground forces, and other crap will be added tomorrow, when my power isn't flickering on and off due to that cunt Sandy.

Removal of Energy Projectors from Retribution and from tech list, resulting in a bump down to tier 1-2 weapons.

No. Really? How many times, Venom, how many times? Okay, they have to be under 10 feet.
I'm going to check this tommorow, and when I do I expect to see
1, a not fucked up page that is 10 pages too wide.
