West of Broken Sea , in the far north of Aeria lies a formation of twenty or less isles , with hills and snowy mountains.
Accounts from both Elven and Man scholarship suggest there resides an isolated civilization , far away from the outside world.
The portion of the supposed site of the islands are themselfs supposed to be behind the Abyssal Mist that rounds a fair large portion of the sea , traveling trough it is impossibile , according to sailors , even pirates.
It is said that in ancient times , people of Pychecko landed on the isles before the Abyssal Mist where they found themselfs witnsesses to a tribal war between human-like being which they called Stromae and a race of unkown amphibians sentinent species.
As the explorers brought with themslefs their technology , they sided with the Stromae and with their aid , Stromae succesfuly downfalled the rival species which eventualy perished bound by the torments of war.
With the rest of the islands for themselfs , Stromae soon settled on them and began constructing cities over the villages of their rival species.
Centuries passed , the Stromae soon began to develop more advanced mathemathics and thus enforcing and building great cities and monuments dedicated to their gods and fellow Pycheko brethen.
They established their capital on their largest island , Phorphyria thus , in time , adopting the name for the whole civilization...but as the time passed , a mysterious thick mist ravaged their connection with their human brethen and soon isolating them from the rest of the world....for nearly 400 years.
Today , Phorphyria is facing devastating population issues and food distribution and thus , the elders of the civilization enforced a holy ritual in which two teen males or females fight to the death for the right to claim their ancestor`s weapons and armors.
These weapons are very dangerous and posses constant magical power that infulenced from harassing Aeria`s very magical source in them.
Lore : Phorphyrian civilization resides behind a thick mist named as "The Abyssal Mist" which prevents both Phorphyria and outside world from communicating.Due to this , Phorphyrians grew unaware of the outside world , enforcing their belief that Phorphyria is the only world.
Religion : While at first of their civilzation begining , Stromae adopted the common religion of Pycheko`s people but today the civilization is separated in religious sectors by the following:
Lunari , Solari , Samaritari and the neutral ones.
Lunari are the part of the population that represent the moon as the supreme deity and their ancestors , thus , every night , rituals are being held in the honour of Madolissa , the Celestal Blesser.
Solari are the part of the population that rever the sun as a source of insipartion and even a god amongst mere stars.Everyday , people gather occasionaly in piazzas to dance and celebrate the birth of Rifoften , the Solar god.
Samaritari are the people that still consider war as an art and everyday they train themselfs in arenas and occasionaly provide spectacles of true streight , bloody or not.Samaritari make the bulk of the civilization`s order and army.
The neutral Phorphyrians are those that still adopt the outside world`s religion and refuses to adress to the others , daily entering minor confilcts with the other religions around the civilization.
Military:Altough the numbers of militarists are slowly decreasing , Samaritari live in islands fortified with stone walls and towers , where inside these walls the military trainings occure , the daily routine.
The soldiers are nambed "Bo`Rahtu`Si" meaning "Dark ones" , these soldiers weld 11 -12 cubids long spears with heavy and gigantic shields carved with symbols.
They wear a helmet that hids their facial expression , their armor is as heavy as their shield and recruits spend 3 years training only with the armor.
Arhitecture and cities : The Phorphyrians benefit from large ammounts of stone deposits , quarries and gold mines.What they lack in resource is the food due to small fertile land.
The vast quantity of stone and quarry is used to build platforms which raise the building`s streets high above the terrain , on the platforms , they construct buildings from quarry or stone , rarely wood ( low social classes).
For religious places, they use the quarry and stone to build magnificent and great monuments , often Pyramids with lower levels.
As for their water transport , they have an unique system of double trail aqueducts that transport water from natural reserviors to the City`s fountains.
They have bridges extended over rivers to unite the isles togheter.As for the streets , they are higly closed and thus , to make the commerge around the civilization more quickly , ships transport food even from one point to another point on the same island.
On the highest point in the isles , where earth touches sky , resides an old , ancient temple of unknown arhitecture.Nobody made to the top of the temple due to ravaging wind storms and beacuse of the never ending winter on the top.
The temple is belived to be haunted with the spirits of angry gods , ready to unleash the most horribile things on Phorphyria.Of course , it is just a rumor....is it?
