History and Overview

When humans first embraced the galactic community, several were able to settle the more local clusters instead of having to travel to the further reaches of the galaxy. A particularly hopeful caravan of settling ships travelled to the corner of the known galaxy nearest Earth, determined to make a settlement in the lands they could convert.

Over time, wandering about the distances in the far corner of the galaxy, they found a promising Garden World with which could support life; they decided to name this planet Lunastia. However, they also made contact with another species that proved sentient and quite similar to humans. These beings lived in mere tribal societies under strange customs. When the humans landed, they socialized with these beings, and they proved to be of powerful intellect despite what their technological limitations would yield one to believe. The humans brought them up to the same level as themselves, and together, the two races populated the system together.

This new race brought with them their culture, and the two races assimilated within each other. This new race would be known as the Nithuo and with them they fostered a desire for freedom just as the humans did. More specific between the races, while the humans brought a pride through honor, the Nithuo brought with them a power through understanding; while these things existed in each race, the mirroring of these facets off of the two races allowed them to build a strong system off of one another. Together, these Humans and Nithuo were stronger than they ever were alone.

However, as the humans and their similar species began to learn of one another, the humans discovered that this race proved equal, if not of greater intelligence to themselves, and it appeared that they lived mostly in fear of idle religious threats. The humans continued to pursue the interest of colonization along Sector 27 as it was called; however, they would soon learn that the fear of the race they uplifted… were not unfounded.

Soon, search parties on the fringes began going quiet, and the peoples of the Humans and Nithuo both decided to investigate the cause. The Nithuo elders spoke of doom and death, but the humans insisted that they investigate. What they found were planets turned to tell; buildings destroyed, tattered remains of what used to be people, and entire settlements entirely missing. These things went unchecked for some time, until ships began sighting anomalies readings through their various scanners; these anomalies would prove elusive until a handful of years later. On the distant, but none too far system of Stygium (T3), odd readings were picked up in substantial amounts in the distance; a defense was mounted, and confidence was bolstered. They were determined to keep their hands on the small resource-producing facilities there.

Nothing could’ve prepared them for what they met; for out of the further reaches of space came not a ship, nor a device, but some hoard of creatures, with what appear to be living spacecraft, that to this day has not been fully studied; these were the first sightings made of the Achexerok, the terrifying and powerful monster force existing only on the fringes of our galaxy which the Humans and Nimuo now inhabit.

Spoiler:

The Loss at Stygium was not a battle, but a retreat, there was no way they could combat such a force; truly, their savagery and brutality went unmatched, as their unorthodox and powerful forces ripped through to the core of the planet. After Stygium was fully harvested, the Achexerok drew back, and all that was left was a cold, planet that had been attacked, and had many of its citizens murdered and or harvested.

The Humans and Nimuo, now coming to terms with the severity of their situation, knew that this would happen again, and again, until one of them was no more; the Nimuo perhaps had faced this ages before, and felt unable to stand up to the threat posed by the oppressive monsters. But the humans, alongside their near identical twins, shunned the idea; they would fight for the free lands they wanted! They wished to embrace the things true to them: Freedom, liberty, love, and the pursuit of a good life.

The Nimuo agreed, they took on this confidence that the humans provided, and they agreed. The loose knit community of City-States within the Colonies began meeting under the name of The Phoenix. They began to coordinate defenses amongst their states, their drive for survival, for flourishing, gave a new rise in culture alongside their manufacturing and production; they became focused on not only enjoying personal freedoms, but acknowledged that working as an equal part within a group as a valuable occupation, to value the effort and work put into your toil, and to honor truth, justice, and glory.

As well, this did well for their training of troops, for their need for fighting men was fostered by this culture, as it nearly bordered a Warrior Society; but with just the particular touch of civility and sophistication to make sure the group itself was not harmed. Sports of the Phoenix nation were made to emulate combat, if they were not combat practitionary already. From rifling, to melee, to hunting, or to fist-fighting; many of these things were accepted sports and also useful in solving personal disputes, though rarely to the death, dueling became a common practice that worked its way into law.

The City-States of the Phoenix ratified a constitution situating themselves as a union of separate city states that would convene and work together as was needed. The radar anomalies associated with the Achexerok did return around this time, and the date for ratification was to be set after their victory over their foes this time around.
They Achexerok were predicted this time, and the City-States launched their defenses; working together as independants, they fought bravely, and amicably, to defend the system targeted by their foes: Lunastia (T1).
The battle for Lunastia lasted one day, and was a truly bloody day. Great numbers of soldiers, ships, and civilians for the Republic were lost, a lack of communication between the City-States proved ineffective; but their drive kept them in the fight, men who ran out of ammunition did take to melee with the beasts in the streets, pilots facing the certainty of the grave did take last measure to take as many fighters with them as they could, and they were determined not to abandon Lunastia under any circumstances; a rallying cry went out over the radios repeatedly, to which all soldiers found hope. “Here on Lunastia, New Luna, we will claim our home! For the Glory of the Phoenix!!”

With the next rising of the sun around Lunastia, many had died, many had been evacuated, and much had been destroyed… but the forces Achexerok did draw back… they had held Lunastia. These demons which had held the Nimuo under their oppressive hunger for countless ages… had been thwarted.
There was untold celebration, their home was theirs, they had fought and held the line against marauding things from out of dark nightmares man can barely hope to imagine; however, come that day, the ratification of the Republic of the Phoenix was not signed.

The battle showed that against a low-medium sized force, a disorganized force such as they had proved ineffective. For them to be able to face larger attack in the future, they would need to have a higher level of government, an interplanetary house, that would answer their calls and represent them fairly, as well as answer swiftly and surely to matters of war. A parliament was established with three houses, and an intergalactic triumvirate ring on top, known as the The Blade.

After the drafting of an almost identical, but updated political drafting of rights, it was unanimously accepted. They took a name, the name of the planet they had used for their capital planet: Azraelas, and kept the moniker, The Nation of the Phoenix; twice had they fallen, and each time returned brighter.

Following this, a national language, currency, and communications network was put into place. The society prospered as it had before, and after having expanded a fair distance further into Achexerok territory, continues to hold the line. Prospering well under adversity, there is a strong national pride that is not totally unearned; Azraelic Marines are peers among elite warriors, and their naval fleet is constantly being updated.

The Nimuo and Humans are equal in this change, the term Azraelic in their own language can mean a reference to either race, or a mixture between the two, without discrimination. Both races hold equal and even in their government and social efforts; they continue to foster each others’ strengths and weaknesses, and fight well alongside one another.

The People and Culture

Azraelas is composed primarily of two races, Humans and Nimuo.

Humans:

Spoiler:

The Humans of Azraelas are brought up as humans often have since the days before Earth was lost, fostered by their society to achieve and strive for happiness and glory, many make due in whatever profession suits them, and or supplement a craft or hobby to great levels alongside their work. Humans have a bright and vibrant culture, referencing thousands of years of history. A common practice for most colleges is the performance of Homer’s The Illiad and the Odyssey in a great celebration of Earth History. Humans are often considered in their culture slightly more apt to physical labor to the Nimuo, but that’s not always the case, just a popular stereotype. Humans are diverse in their interests and their hobbies, as well as their aesthetics within Azraelas.

Nimuo
:

Spoiler:

The Nimuo of Azraelas flourish in the society introduced to them over the short time in the wake of their enslavement. Their powerful minds make for great thinkers, tinkerers, and philosophers, who help shape their military and home structure. Nimuo often express a desire to have a historical record and vibrancy that the humans possess, so Nimuo tend to offer similar festivals of their own, honoring philosophy, fantasy, and other aspects of their new rising modern culture.

The Nimuo physically are on the same height level as humans, with three fingers, save the flexible thumb, similar to the flanges on their feet. Their skin holds a slightly more magenta hue than is common in humans, and it tends to vary from the slight magenta to a more violet color. Their faces bear four eyes and slits for inhalation. Their ears are large, almost like a bunny’s, but wider and swayed back. As well, they are fairly hairless, save for fast growing straight hair upon their heads that usually grows white to black, with tinges of blue in it. Nimuo eyes are black where humans are white, which brings even greater attention to their iris pigmentation, which seems to be almost any color one can think of, with some being more rare than others. As well, having symmetrical features is more common in Nimuo than in humans.

Nimuo are more naturally tended to take to lean muscle over bulky muscle, which stimulates a slightly common stereotype that they are less physically able than humans, but this is not the case. As well, if that were so, they factually do boast a generally higher IQ by several notches than humans.

Nimuo have a slightly higher body temperature than humans, so often they wear clothing lesser than humans in the same environments.

The Azraelic Homeworld: New Lunastia

Spoiler:

The ancestral planet of the Nimuo, a planet roughly the same size as Earth, but darted mostly by large lakes over oceans, and boasting a larger size than the ancestral planet of the humans, the two races have taken well to it. Through more applicable renewable resource practices, educated and aware usage of resources, and a strong national drive for a strong economy has made New Lunastia a bustling, quickly growing planet.

Consisting largely of Savannahs and praries, with the occasional break in with heavy mountain ridges and mountains, the planet provides a host of resources. Where there are green fields, there are farming communities surrounding cities that tower into the skies. Where there are mountains, there are industrial centers with surrounding communities, where the cities provide means for mass manufacturing.

The world experiences two major seasons, with some fringe area between the two; taking from the ancestral Nimuo language, they translate roughly to SunSeason and MoonSeason.

New Lunastia is orbited by four different moons, and the northern hemisphere experiences a very noticeable aurora effect at night; The Ancestral Nimuo have countless poems regarding the beauty of their night sky.

The Sports of the Azraelic Republic:

The Fisticuffs: A fighting sport evolved from mixed martial arts and wrestling, involving various statutes of unarmed melee combat; while there are division sects, largely the central Fisticuffs is a proud tradition with several schools working different styles to perfection.

The General Melee: A fighting sport focusing on Melee combat supremacy through any means. Though sometimes maintaining safety regulations can be arduous, largely, no one is permanently harmed. Though there are many particular divisions and leagues, the central General Melee comprises usually the best of the best of all melee fighters.

RifleArms: A competition of both accuracy, precision, and drill processes. While divisons and offshoots exist, the purest of the RifleArms Championships conclude with a gauntlet of fully immersive computerized rifle simulators designed to mimic the armament of the user to the tee; save the lethality of the weapon.

General FireArms: Similar in almost all aspects to RifleArms, save the fact that the weapons allow almost any projectile weapons, and focuses more on gauntlet performances overall.

Battle Royale: This is the most spectacular and famous sport within the Republic, reminiscent of Ancient Rome’s days with the Coliseum; this sport is a cavalcade of combat, to and fro, no holds barred ranged weapon simulation and live melee combat.

Governmental Civics

The House of Stone, The House of Silver, and The House of Jade; respectively the houses receive diplomats and have particular powers. The House of Stone is the foundation of the Interplanetary government, each republic electing three senators of its choice to send to the Home Planet: Azraelas, to represent them in the making of national laws, domestic plans, and extra-national efforts. The House of Silver is manned by dignitaries placed by planet population, often times this ring of government is associated with the same thing, but provides a separate, and at times, more valuable perspective. The Ring of Jade is a circle that is decided upon by the people as a whole, often choosing idol figures, particularly heroic fighters and leaders.

Government in Azraelas is a job that does not offer pay, your needs are taken care of, but monetary payment is not given; it is seen as an honor and a duty to your fellow man, and is often taken as a sign of great respect.

Atop the Ring of Jade is one last circle of government known as The Blade, this is the triumvirate ring elected from within the Jade Circle, that oversees the facets of government as a whole, and represents them in the galactic community. The Blade has no true political power, but a suggestion from one of them is almost always presented by delegates within the lower rungs. Each seat within the Triumvirate is given a title based upon the person who sits within it; it’s mostly honorary, but is often referenced as Sir would be. A title can be reused, but will often be complemented by the person’s chronological standing with that title. An example would be the popular philosopher Agalargos, The Second Iron Dragon. The first Iron Dragon occupied seven years before his standing, and had passed before then; Iron Dragon was a fitting title for both men.

Military and Technology

The Hauberk VII Maintenance System
:

In response to the myriad of problems that came with handling large ships in the heat of combat, the engineers of the Azraelic Republic began the Hauberk project before the Stand at Lunastia. In its early stages, it was merely a programming suite that had drones repair parts of the ship that could be damaged that engineers couldn’t easily get to. From this point, it has come across leaps and bounds, and become an incredibly potent part of the Azraelic War Effort.

Evolving steadily past that point and to its current state, it has become a powerful tool in the hands of its creators. The Hauberk VII system is essentially a full repair suite for the ships of the Azraelic Republic, depending on the resources available to the crew of the ship, and the size of the ship itself, it can prove able to restore major areas of the ship to a functional state after attack.

How it works, essentially, is an advanced program running through the ship’s systems that runs to a particular advice all too similar to the early drones with moderate improvements. These drones draw supplies from a storage of raw materials, and can operate automatically to create a ‘scab’ over the injured partition of the ship; just as well, the pilots and engineers can produce a more advanced healing action through manual operations and coding.

Smaller ships are much harder to supply this technology to, but even so, they can benefit. Larger ships are easier to do so with, and can maintain large supplies and intricate resource funneling systems that can keep them in flight and fighting longer.

The Mjolnir III Assault Supplement System:

This technology was adapted for use at the Stand at Lunastia; wanting to derive the maximum amount of power from their slugs, the engineers of what would be the Azraelic Republic thought of a way to give their canon-slugs more stopping power than what was applicable by their technological limitations.

Instead of trying to advance the caliber and velocity of their rounds, they sought to instead add a new factor to their weaponry. By grounding their canon barrels, and making a slight metallurgic change to their ammunition, they found they were able to supplement their rounds with a highly damaging electronic shock. Not only can this effect the physical ship and the systems therein, but it can also cause damage to shielding.

Originally developed for landbased turrets, the Mjolnir project has been extended to almost all weaponry within the Azraelic republic’s arsenal. From infantry weaponry, to ship projectiles, usually the size of the weapon allows a larger amplitude of electricity.

The Azraelic Military

The Azraelic Military can be divided into four major catagories: The Phalanx, The Reavers, The Navy, and The Gears.

The Phalanx is the standard military of the Republic, they provide a strong rank and file, and a thoroughly well trained military force that can occupy many positions. They can serve on ships, on land, and in a variety of specializations; even though The Phalanx is perhaps the most basic of the military systems of the Azraelic Military, they are well trained, and their ground forces serve exceptionally well.

Spoiler:

The Reavers are the elite warriors of the Azraelic people. Despite the reputation of the Phalanx’s potentious ground fighters, The Reavers put them to great shame; The Reavers are a powerful, efficient, and all-together feared agency of combat that is known perhaps through the galaxy. They serve from commandoes, to spies, or any other combat role that may come into play; often they serve in groups to serve to the fullest, but they are incredibly lethal and effective alone.
There are three subdivisions of Reavers, each having master-level combat capabilities, and particular specialization in combat roles and support skills.
Reaver Demons are fearsome sights on the battlefield, they are bred solely, and entirely, for combat. Mentally, physically, and perhaps spiritually trained to exude power and the ability to take and or preserve life. They are trained in all facets of combat; battle, tactics, mentality, pathology, and the complications thereof when civilians, and or persons of interest are involved. It is perhaps a warning in every modern military in the galaxy, that soldiers should not engage a Demon alone.
Reaver Hellions supplement their base combat mastery with a specialization in nautical combat and operational scenerioes. They are master dogfighters, ship-defenders, boarders, and saboteurs. Hellions are vastly dynamic and useful, due to their nature as master soldiers at home on ships, vehicles, or around them thereof. Just as well, they are trained for use in Hazardous Enviorment gear the heaviest in initial training.
Reaver Blights are masters of combat who use a supplemental knowledge of subterfuge, counter-intelligence, guerilla-warfare, espionage, and Assassination. These are the masters of the shadows who fight with honor when possible, but are not afraid to drop to their opponents lows to bring victory to Azraelas. Their actions are often well known of, but also shrouded in secrecy. Reaver Blights are one with death, elites in combat both honorable and orthodox, and ways less so.

Spoiler:

The Navy is made up of support roles within the Phalanx of the military, focusing on support roles of all types, that keep the ships, vehicles, weapons, and equipment of the Military in proper check. The Navy provides excellent upkeep, research and development, and manufacturing abilities.

The Gears, like the Reavers to the Phalanx, are a division of technicians and cyber-division specialists devoted to heavy, top of the line, research and operational work. These men maintain the constant research and development that keeps the Azraelic Republic in the tech race. Just as well, they house the important agents who can carry out technologically advanced actions that can make or break a strategic effort in a mission. However, in addition to the technological and support orientation of the Gears, it also boasts a high level of self defense training and orientation; many of these

Spoiler:

The Azraelic Fleet

The Azraelic Republic's fleet consists mostly of large transport vessels armed to a moderate extent, and dropship fighters. The Orion, the Azraelic Flagship, is currently the only massive ship in the fleet, with Azraelas lacking in both Medium-Level War Ships and Large-Level Warships.

The Orion:

Typhon:

Spoiler:

The Azraelic Blade

The Three Ruling and Representative Members of the Azraelic Republic.

Aedelric Derrel, The Ouroboros

Spoiler:

Born into the second generation after the formal creation after the creation of the Azraelic Republic, the human Aedelric Derrel showed promise in both academics and athletics, showing as one of the top of his class in several Advanced Placement Courses, and also taking home medals in the General Melee. He would pursue higher education and enter into the service of the Azraelic Military. He could have pursued a branch that would have further fostered his success in college, and provided greater benefits, but he tried solely for the Reavers alone; Aedelric was inspired by their creeds and standing as warriors and not just soldiers.

It was tough, grueling work, but Aedelric made the cut, and was accepted into The Reavers. He served a total of three tours with these elite warriors, and each time after the force earning major commendations and surviving exceptionally disadvantageous odds. He stands in the chronicles of history as the The Wolf, the only one of his occupying force to stand against the Achexerok invasion of a mining colony on the brink of Azraelic space. Transmissions were received, but muffled, he could not be identified, but his message was clear; he was the only one left, but he was bunkered down, and he was going to hold until either reinforcements came, or he himself was slain. It took almost two days, but reinforcements arrived, to find Aedelric near death, but having slain waves of Achexerok, and having held his position.

After this event, which prompted him into celebrity status, Aedelric would serve a valiant term with the Reavers, before returning to civilian life; if that’s what it could be called. Aedelric kept himself a prime candidate for the General Melee and the Battle Royale, as well as pursuing interests such as travel, writing, and history; but still he placed himself near the positions of fighting in which he could assist. His accolades would gather and stack upon one another, and often he would try and use his appeal and resources to further not only those in his own command, but he tried to give back to the people.

His unwavering determination, effort, and devotion did not go unnoticed. With the opening of a rank within the Blade due to an Honorable Abdication, Aedelric was promptly promoted and he accepted this offer; several times prior he was offered more legislature based government positions, but declined. As a member of the blade, the political and structural sword of the Azraelic Republic, he felt far more comfortable.

Kain Haskabas, The Hammerbearer
Spoiler:

Little can be said for the Nimuo Kain, save he was an elite athlete long before he joined the Phalanx. In the Azraelic Military Systems, Kain proved himself an epithet for destruction wherever he went; no mission was too dangerous, never was anything too reckless or too dangerous to be a show of his great strength and zeal. Immediately after his first hitch in the Phalanx, Kain was invited to join the Reavers, and so he did.

His military exploits border on the mad, but are equally valorous. He’s completed perfunctory tasks without so much as a flinch, and he’s engaged combat whenever applicable. While one might think him a wild warmonger, that is not, entirely, the case. Kain has a mind that was built for combat logistics, his iron trap mind shows no mercy when it comes to tactics; a testament to this is his Captain of the Chess Team he signed to while in the Reavers, that is, when he wasn’t bulking up.

Kain’s identity would become worthy of The Blades after a particularly suicidal effort on his part. An explosive device was to be planted in a central hub of Achexerok that had been planted on a nearby planetary body that was being used as a mining opportunity. The air support they had mustered was shot down, and backup as well as survival, looked bleak. Kain rallied his troops, and conceived a brilliant effort to establish a hulking defense by Achexerok forces, while exploiting a severe set of flanks and killing zones. Drawing upon this plan, and slaughtering these foes by the bundle, they were not only able to fight their way in, but able to draw themselves out after arming the device, with minimal casualties.

It was not long after this exploit that Kain’s leadership ability, tactical prowess, and martial standing had him elected into a free seat in the Blades.

Altaden Hasook, The Fourth Hawk

Spoiler:

Altaden Hasook is a Nimuo of stunning reputation, status, and beauty; however, just as potent as all these things happens to be her technical genius: Altaden herself is the pioneering expert responsible for the upgrade from the Hauberk VI to the Hauberk VII systems, nearly doubling past efficiency.

Altaden was born to a wealthy family based in the national banking of Azraelas. From an early age, she shunned the lavishes of posh life, and instead turned to a glorious intellect and curiosity that burned within her being.
She soared through the years of schooling offered to her on the fast track to the top; advancing ahead of her age group, constantly seeking new challenges, and quickly finding herself freely welcomed by the best universities and think-tanks within all of the Azraelic Republic. She rose to the occasion time and time again, becoming an essential unit in all the projects she became a part of.

Several years into a doctorate program, serving as a professor at one of the universities constantly battling for the brightest minds of Azraelas, Altaden was pouring over research and developments allotted to her recently acquired top secret level clearance. She found these pursuits fascinating, and perhaps truly challenging; they broke through and inspired interest in her, and she began work on efforts to contribute. Within several months, she had been able to supply, supplement, and present plans for the Hauberk VII upgrade from the VI system; upon testing, her findings were immediately verified and implemented.

Though she fought for several years to avoid election into public office, when the people had the gall to elect her as a member of the blade when such a position opened, she decided she couldn’t struggle any longer.

Already did good sir. = ) Keep in mind, that was a REALLY REALLY rough little piece that I posted, simply because that's all I finished writing before I went to bed.

Right now, that section is still standing to receive edit, and is almost 2k characters long, there will be more sections than just the history that I'm going into, and I made sure to study what happened to the Earth. I did have a question though, how many years has it been since Earth was abandoned, and the time it is now?

Not entirely, while they try to put a good spin on it (which it looks like I did in my bio), they require a strong military force capable of withstanding constant assault; they are in a state of constant threat; they try to lead the best lives they can, because they suffer under the hands of their deep-space tormentors.

Another societal drawback would be a lacking force capable of upgrading their technology, in comparison to other nations; sure, the agents are there, but many more are brought up into the ideals of becoming Warriors and Heroes. Their leader Aedelric is an example; he had his whole future ahead of him, but inspired by the causes and creeds in his heart, he chose to embrace battle.

Of course, there will be crime, and a myriad of complex social issues (Duels gone wrong, illegal exprimentation and training, other things) that in my haste I thought would be given. As well, there is most likely a strong political rift between Green Industrialization, and Black Industrialization, not wanting to end up with a 99.9% tech covered planet. This however creates fission over where to get resources, making them sometimes harder to aquire, which is disasterous when fighting a total-war enemy like the Achexerok.

As well, fuel in particular, is something that the Azraelic Republics are lacking; so rations, as well as despierate trade attempts, would be made for substantial amounts.

Other issues would probably come from within the city states, the republics more than a little often bumping heads and clashing with each other, causing problems for the boys upstairs.

As well, their navy is not the strongest aspect of their fighting force, it is their infantry that bring home the gold in that department; while that's not a reference to the society having a drawback, its an example of the military having one. I may have posed interesting new technologies that could be used to enhance our odds and those we do trade with, but it will only work as much as the tier technology will allow.

Just as well, I'm seeing Suicide (perhaps even ritual suicide) being a large problem as well; especially those that survive attacks committed by the Achexerok.

This formatting is really hard to read sense it is all bulked together in an unorganized way. If you could add spaces and such that would be great. While you say the navy is weak, all I see are massive ships that are going to tear through any other navy. I'll add more to this as I read more, manually spacing it and reading it via notepad.

I do apologize for the formatting issue, I do intend to reformat it eventually, but there's a LOT of material there, and it was late when I finally finished all of it.

And as for the ships, they're still in the T1 phase, and any of the larger ships (above Typhons, hell, even Typhons) would rarely venture far away from the warfront with the Achexerok.

Having said this, if it is a problem, I will rework the navy to a more favorable level, it isn't a major deal; however, I would ask to PLEASE keep my Capital Ship... t hat took forever, and carries a lot of personal devotion. = ) Besides, its sexy.

If they are only at tear one than I would hate to see what they could be able to do at tear two. It's just to powerful compared to the other nation's navies. While that isn't the problem, it's that you have both a powerful infantry and a powerful navy. Even if you are not going to use them in events away from your conflict, they are too powerful. Your conflict is also powerful seeing how you can't defeat whoever your "Achexerok" that just means they are more powerful... It's just too much at the start of a faction.

This is entirely understandable. I'll work on changing them. = ) I believe I used the PhoenixRhapsody method in creating this Empire; I wanted to start out with a full, powerful idea in my head, which I can now chisel away at.

I'll make notable changes to the military; perhaps keeping the ships (or the sexy pictures XP), but making them work within a much more acceptable power limit. However, I won't hesitate to put some of the ships on hold if I have to, if nerfing alone won't work.

Using that "method" isn't acceptable in Forum Roleplay when nothing is either accepted or denied. You shouldn't overpower your nation as stated in the rules. Base your nation man power off a realistic number and what they might have. Do not rely on others to make these changes for you, be responsible.

My apologies, past experiences with forum roleplay lead me to believe that there was still an approval process, I like to bounce my ideas off of others, to ensure that the idea I have in my head can be practically applied to roleplay. Having said that, I didn't intend to over power the nation, you just were able to point out errors where my conceptual ideals did not; which is what I expected, and I didn't spend several more days trying to pick something out, that you were able to notice in perhaps a few hours of the posting.

I will look at it with what I've noticed in mind, and make acceptable changes; however, I don't think there's any irresponsibility in asking for a review or two, however, I did not know that this was not the place for that, and I do apologize.

Biography has been updated, Navy has been Nerfed, and formatting has been placed.

As well, I listed a myriad of social and military strengths and weaknesses for quick summary towards the top of the page.

I like it, I've only read a forth of it but so far so good. Obviously you're the most dedicated non-moderator here.
