What is being applied for: Enchanted Cane

What does this item do: From the head of the cane stares those awful eyes. One of the gems is a ruby, the other a reddish-more transparent cordonium. The user is able to activate the cane's magical powers once a day. The enchantment, when triggered, conjures up a full set of steel armor. Although this is very useful, the enchantment had a small mistake in it and during the lifespan, the armor is very receptive to dark magic. Exposure of the taint will cause the wearer to become more aggressive, losing willpower. The taint also has the small effect of altering the wearer's appearance a bit, creating a demonic look. The armor has a lasting lifespan, the enchantment holding the conjuration for more than the length of a battle, though this still can only be used once a day.

The taint took him a long time to get use to, wearing on his general personality after much exposure. Anyone else who took this cane, and used the enchantment, would be caught offguard by the effects, and it may cause them to feel terrible and lose almost all their control.

How was the item obtained: Cyrus has done numerous highway robberies over his lifespan, moving up the route as he takes many travelers, messengers, and merchants off guard. One day, during his casual routine of dragging a group of travelers down with his gang, he came across an artifact. It was going to be presented as a gift to a museum in the following town, though Cyrus acquired it. This cane seemed like a nice little tool, but yielded much more ability than he knew.

Why should I have this: Cyrus is an ill minded individual already and the taint of the armor could produce some unique roleplay. Cyrus alone has no armor, which could be questioned for someone who is a bandit. I feel that I am not asking for too much, and with everyone else equipped to the teeth with armor and weapons, I figured this would be a valid reason for protecting my character.

Thank you for pointing that out. Moving to Denied because the character is no longer alive.
