- Name: Stinkwallow Weeds
Origin: Disregarded by most people as a big ugly weed, it can actually prove useful in alchemy as a sort of stabilizer, and help in the creation of new, unique potions, if just somewhat. They smell like a combination of dandelions and rotting meat, and often grow in lazy people's lawns, it's effects are gained by squeezing a juice from a plant. The colors of the plant's "petals" are often very gaudy and hideous.
Rarity: Common.
Flavor: Bittersweet, but will instantly induce vomiting if consumed by itself. Though it's not like anybody would be insane enough to just pluck them off the ground and eat them, right?..
Effects: Marginally reduces the risk in newly "invented" potions.
Side-Effects: Nausea, possible Diarrhea, Disorientation. Can mildly reduce the potency of healing-related potions. Will do more later.

Name: Dreamsprig
Origin: This small sprig typically grows in high places with plenty of water, such as mountain pools and near waterfalls making them challenging to collect. The dark green sprig is also quite small which can make it somewhat hard to spot and easier to disregard it as any other common weed. However, the sprig only grows during nights. In daytime they seem to retract into the soil they sprout from. Due to all of the reasons aforementioned, not many know about this small herb.
Rarity: Uncommon
Flavor: Mildly bitter
Effects: -Eaten: This herb will have mildly comforting effect on the consumer if the herb is ingested. Barely any remarkable effect in most cases. -Inhaled: If the herb is tossed into a fire, it will release a smooth white smoke that will soothe just about anyone who inhales the smoke. The smoke tends to smell like a fresh forest. The most remarkable things about the smoke are that it can even calm down gravely injured or dying people and animals, and it can induce visions to the ones inhaling it. The visions seem to always be related to the person's memories and be soothing in one way or another.
Side-Effects: If the herb is ingested, it will result in small stomach ache. It is also possible to become addicted to the soothing effect it has.

Name: Mistspray Sapling
Origin: The small, somewhat fraqile sapling tends to grow in damp and often misty locations of almost any forest. Due to the somewhat secluded locations it grows in, it is more uncommon herb to see in use, although not completely unknown. Some actors and actresses have used this herb to induce tears for their plays.
Rarity: Common, although fairly unknown
Flavor: Faint Mint
Effects: When a leaf of the sapling is ingested, it will speed up the healing processes of all flesh-related injuries (scratches, flesh wounds, stabs...). The herb will not affect other injuries however.
Side-Effects: Overdoses of this herb, even small ones can be poisonous and induce vomiting to the consumer. Often the herb will also activate the consumer's lagrimal glands, thus causing them to shed tears.
I also <3 Mun for making this thread.

- Name: Black Mist Sprouts
Origin: Near water, on the cliff-side of most forests.

Effects: When burned, the smoke emitted from the sprouts has the potential to cause anyone inhaling it to lose consciousness. All senses would be numbed for a few hours.
Side-Effects: Mild headaches afterwards.

- Name: Dragon's Root
Origin: Found in caverns, it seems to grow in only very mild light.
Rarity: Common, easy to find as it's quite brightly colored.
Flavor: Like a very intense red pepper.
Effects: This Root is to be ground, and inhaled through the nose and into the lungs. The effect of this root is, quite literally, breath-taking. This, when used in correct dosage, causes the user to exhale fire instead of carbon dioxide.
If ingested plain, this root can have some... Sizzling qualities.
Side-Effects: Ingested, this can make your insides feel like they're being set aflame, and causes the major orifices to excrete fire. When used correctly, it can cause loss of breath, and a sizzling feeling throughout the chest.

- Name: Spine Thistle
Origin: Native to Surna, found on cliff sides, sometimes spreads to outskirts of forests, some grasslands.
Rarity: Fairly Common
Flavor: Sweet
Effects: The rough thistle stem has a soft, fleshy and sweet centre, which can be used as a common sweetener in many local dishes in Taverns and Inns.
Side-Effects: The fleshy centre of a spike thistle stem will do you no harm, however, should even a small amount of the thistle be consumed, it would cause the consumer massive throat irritation and dehydration.

- Name: Nightal
Origin: Nightal grows only in heavy winters, in small pockets under the snow. It's a small sprout-like plant that appears a soft blue and covered in a light frost, giving it a glassy look. The plant is incredibly delicate and must be harvested with magics. Typically the plants do not grow past a sprout, as either they are crushed, or the summer comes and melts them; Though it is said if they mature enough they become fairly strong and beautiful blue flowers.
Rarity: Very rare.
Flavor: Bitter Mint
Effects: If (gently) heated, can be used as a tea, which puts the drinker to sleep moments after--but also lowers the drinkers core temperature until their skin is ice-cold. Can also be crushed into a powder and used in potions as a flavoring, giving the user a cold, minty feel to their mouth.
Side-Effects: Can cause the user to get frostbite in the limbs if consumed raw. Can also cause the mouth to lose feeling and/or taste, and can cause the user to contract hypothermia in sleep and die. [/font]

Name: Moodbloom
Origin: This small flower tends to grow in nearly anywhere there are nutrients, soil and water, but is very easily disregarded as any random flower.
Rarity: Uncommon
Flavor: Bland and grassy
Effects: The herb can have minor to moderate mood altering and amplifying effects on it's consumer, depending on how it was ingested. The duration of the effect is dependant on the amount consumed. -Plain, eaten: The herb will have only minor amplifying effects on it's consumers mood. -Liquid, drank: Any average alchemist could easily extract the fluids of this flower and bottle them. A vial of the extract could cause the consumer to experience notable moodswings and amplify their emotions. -Inhaled: If the plant is thrown into a fire and the fumes are inhaled, it would have a slight dulling effect on the mood of the consumer and make them a little sad. Poor flower. If the plant is picked up and allowed to grow, and is taken care of, it will somehow begin to change it's color and shape according to the mood of it's caretaker. For example, if it's caretaker was happy, it's petals would usually be a shade of orange. If angry, they would change to red, and the plant could sprout tiny thorns
Side-Effects: It is very possible to experience random moodswings, apathy or general dullness of mood after the initial effects of the plant wear off, for up to a few days. Not recommended to use on women with menses.

Name: Plaguebloom
Origin: An ugly reminder of the darkness and the plague that threatened to wipe out the life of everyone. This twisted, black and thorny plant can be found throughout the plains where the soil is still tainted.
Rarity: Uncommon
Flavor: Unimaginably foul.
Effects: The twisted herb will cause the consumer, only after a few minutes it has been ingested, to feel crippling pain for several hours, to an extent they would beg for anyone to take their life just to make the torment end. The amount consumed only affects the duration the consumer will experience the pain for. The plant itself cannot kill, but the pain and anguish it causes the consumers to feel can drive them mad with relative ease. After the initial effects of the plant, it will cause an illness, similiar to the plague that swept over the land, which however will not kill the victim.
Side-Effects: This abomination of a herb can drive it's consumers mad with the pain it causes them to feel.
Aeria needs more flowers.

- Name: Rueberry
Origin: Small bushes that can be found in practically every forest, but can only grow in thin areas, and only at the base of trees. They only grow in the summer / fall, and grow rather quickly. Their berries sprout as either bright blue or dark blue with speckles.
Rarity: Extremely Common
Flavor: Sugary-Sweet
Effects: Rueberries are small, but they are full of things that can help people become stronger and healthier faster, and are typically given to children.
Side-Effects: Rueberries can cause death, as many people do not know which to pick, and are not used in survival situations often because of this. Rueberries are said to have specific signs such as abnormally small or large speckles and a more purplish color, though most common folk can't tell this unless they have been handling Rueberries for quite a long while. Rueberries other harmful effect besides death is causing permanent numbness to bodyparts.
