Apparently someone (we have a very good idea of who, but we won't accuse. It's nobody currently in the community) managed to get into my profile on the old forums and proceeded to change the passwords of nearly all the admins and about 10 other players. The issue has been resolved.
Several of them were accounts owned by older members, no longer a part of the community. Here is a list of affected accounts owned by players currently in the community.
