Biography
Spoiler:
He was born in Canada, a city called Toronto, apparently...now it's just called rubble. Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing, all this shit that's happened...maybe it is. He's not entirely sure how he feels really...It doesn't matter though, what used to be. What matters is what is now. He was raised on meager amounts of food and hardly had time to spare between working and sleeping. He spent most of his time in a little gun-store with his father, cleaning, maintaining, and sometimes testing weapons that...they never seemed to be able to use for themselves. He was twenty-one when he heard about the treasure. Some people were talking about it in a dingy little pub. He figured. "I can either say here my whole life, fixing guns and barely scratching by...or I can try for this treasure." The people had said it was only in the east coast of what used to be America, it's just across the Great Lakes...or rather the Great Pits. He figured it couldn't be that difficult to get there...right. Not that hard... He came to what remained of the Great Lakes, giant pits in the ground, with muddy pockets here and there...not a lot left of these once glorious bodies. Apparently he was standing in Lake Michigan...it was constantly debated whether it belonged to America or Canada...most agreed it was in American land, therefore an American lake...at least, that's what his books had taught him. He trudged on through the lake, down towards what his compass said was South-East. He didn't see much, save for the odd 'survivor' with their face deep in the mud, trying to drink in as much as they could. He resisted the urge, something just didn't see right about the mud and 'water'... Not long after the sun fell, weird noises began erupting from behind him. He quickly found a hole to hide in, making sure it wasn't occupied by something nastier than whatever was making these horrid noises. He crawled in, and watched the entrance all night, until the sun rose into sight and the sounds stopped. The water was definitely not right here. He continued towards where his compass said was South-East. Surely he had to be getting near the coast now, the treasure... They lied! There wasn't even a blade of grass or a flake of gold, hell not even a drop of water. This place is drier than up north in Canada. He managed to find another town of sorts, and decided he better stock up before leaving back for Canada to continue preparing, fixing, and maintaining weapons...but something happened. He heard about more treasure out west...he was lied to the first time, but he's already come this far...maybe it was worth another shot...
